    Hey Beth,
as always, great interview. My lame excuses for not getting out and climbing seem so small when staying in touch with you and your friends! I grew up following you, Katie, and Chris (among others). We are all about the same age and seeing how each of you have overcome their own adversities, is always inspiring. I myself have come off of 3 knee surgeries and a broken back. So it's always good vibes when you hear its still possible to get back to where you were, or even progress further! When you got some time some day, Ill tell you the funny story about meeting you and Katie at Xgames 98 in San Diego. I still have Sharma's jersey that I test climbed in because he got hurt! keep it up! climb hard!

  • B,

Thanks so much for the kind note and words. I'm so sorry to hear about your 3 knee surgeries and a broken back! Wow, I can't imagine! The 98 X Games, wow, that's definitely a long time ago – San Diego if I remember correctly? I'm always up for an old funny story, especially from way back then 🙂

Thanks again, and I hope you are great.

Hope you're having an epic climbing summer. I was hoping to get up to Yos in September to show you a thing or two, but doesn't look like I can swing it. I know i know. . . let down.
